Apple has unveiled its latest innovation, the Studio Display XDR, a 27-inch 5K monitor with a host of new features. This upgrade comes after a few years since the last update, offering two new monitor options for users. The Studio Display and Studio Display XDR both boast 5,120 x 2,880 resolutions and 12MP Center Stage cameras, with the XDR model adding new Mini LED backlighting with 2,304 dimming zones for improved brightness, contrast, and black levels. The XDR model also supports adaptive sync and offers faster charging capabilities, while the standard model remains at 60Hz. Preorders begin March 4th, with prices starting at $1,599 for the Studio Display and $3,299 for the Studio Display XDR, with an additional cost for the anti-reflective nano-texture glass option.
