The new Starshine 6 retains its elegant exterior design, featuring a bold trapezoidal grille and classic door handles. But under the hood, a revolution is brewing. The 1.5-liter engine remains, but it's now paired with a massive 28.3 kWh battery pack, a significant upgrade from the previous model. This enhancement translates to an impressive 45 km increase in pure electric range, reaching up to 170 km on a single charge. And this is where it gets interesting: the larger battery doesn't compromise the vehicle's dimensions, as the updated model maintains its sleek 4806/1886/1490 mm profile.
The current Galaxy Starshine 6, with its lithium iron phosphate batteries, offers a range of 60 km and 125 km for the 8.5 kWh and 17 kWh variants, respectively. But the new model's battery capacity is a game-changer, offering a substantial increase in electric driving capability. And this is the part most people miss: the larger battery could potentially unlock even more performance and efficiency enhancements.
Controversially, the detailed electric motor specifications and comprehensive range data remain under wraps, leaving enthusiasts eager for more information. The current model's EM-i NordThor Hybrid 2.0 system, with its 82 kW engine and 120 kW front electric motor, has already impressed many. But will the updated model take it to the next level?
